Two deep-sea fishes, the six-rayed rattail (Coelorinchus sexradiatus) and the three-spot rattail (Coelorinchus triocellatus) are each known only from their original collection during the early twentieth century from the waters of the Sulu Archipelago southwest of Mindanao.
